New Accounts

The first three orders received will be based on a proforma basis.

Subsequent orders may be on account subject to the relevant bank

and trade reference checks. Forms are available by contacting the

office at sales@diversefinefood.co.uk

 

Value Added Tax

Vat is charged at the prevailing rate to all items marked ’20.0%’ in the

catalogue. Zero Rated are all marked with ‘0.0%Z’.

 

Payment

Once account approved all invoices are to be paid within 30 days

following delivery. Any bank charges incurred, such as unpaid

cheques, will be passed to the buyer. Diverse Fine Food reserves the

right to remove the credit facility if payments are frequently late or

unpaid. Accounts passed to the debt collectors will automatically be

returned to proforma and excess charges incurred by so doing passed

to the customer. We do accept credit card payments, please be

aware these are subject to a fee of 2%.

 

Title of Goods

All goods will remain the property of Diverse Fine Food until paid for

in full, but the risk will pass to the buyer on delivery. Diverse Fine Food

reserve the right to remove from the buyer’s premises all goods which

have not been paid for by the due date, and the buyer is deemed

to consent to Diverse Fine Food entering its premises for that purpose

until payment is made in full.

 

Prices

Prices sometimes change at short notice, and Diverse Fine Food

reserve the right to pass onto the buyer any price increase imposed

by its supplier between the date of an order and the date of delivery

of goods. However we will always endeavour to give 1 months

notice of any price increases.

 

Claims

On occasion that there may be a discrepancy or shortage of the

order, or if the goods are damaged, the buyer must advise Diverse

Fine Food within 3 working days of delivery.

 

Faulty & Damaged Products

We are happy to replace faulty or damaged products that are

received. Please ensure the item(s) are available for collection and

please provide photos of any damaged products. Please always

sign for any damaged deliveries as unchecked or damaged. Diverse

cannot credit or replace any items that have been signed for as ok.

 

Returns

No returns will be accepted unless prior arrangements have been

made. Diverse Fine Food cannot give credit for goods that are

already price marked or in an unsaleable condition.

Sell-by Date

The buyer must ensure correct stock rotation as we are unable to

give refunds for stock that remains unsold after its ‘best before’ or

‘use by’ date.

 

Deliveries

Carriage free orders are subject to a minimum order value stated in

the delivery schedule. A delivery charge +VAT will be applied to all

orders valued below the minimum order for your area. Free delivery is

only available to addresses on the schedule. For orders to addresses in

Northern Scotland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle

of Man or outside UK please contact us to discuss delivery charges and

time-scales. Please contact us for all pallet delivery information, this will

be determined by Diverse Fine Food and extra delivery rates may apply.

Any delivery dates given are approximate and late delivery will not be

an acceptable reason for refusing products unless the Seller is informed

in writing before the products are dispatched. Diverse Fine Food aims to

deliver when promised.
